The compact positioning of the battery pack, motor control unit (MCU), and motor reduces unsprung weight and stabilizes the Storm Bee. With a 1,430 mm wheelbase and specific steering geometry, the Storm Bee delivers exceptional off-road maneuverability and high-speed stability.
TURBO & REVERSE BUTTONS
The Surron Storm Bee boasts two standout features: turbo and reverse. Activating the turbo provides a brief surge of power when at full throttle. Additionally, the functional reverse button offers valuable assistance to riders navigating challenging trail conditions. These innovative features showcase Surron’s commitment to originality and inventive design thinking.
HIGH PERFORMANCE ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN
The core of the Storm Bee’s power system is its 104-volt, 55-ampere-hour battery pack. This battery pack provides enough power to drive the Surron Storm Bee to a maximum speed of 75 miles per hour and a maximum range of 70 miles. You can recharge the Surron Storm Bee using its provided charger through a standard wall outlet in approximately 4 hours.
A precisely constructed FOC motor control unit effectively and safely regulates power to the liquid-cooled, brushless (BLDC) motor. Integrated sensors automatically adjust power delivery to maximize battery life in case of high temperatures.
